Happy Friday everyone!  This is my first post of a new weekly series I am starting. or at least considering.  It is combining beauty and fashion.  I now have a Polyvore account, so I decided to do makeup looks that I would wear around the collages I make.  The first set is a coral maxi dress with gold accessories. I am usually not a fan of gold, but this is an exception.  I adore everything about this maxi dress.  It looks comfy, but it is also classy and stylish.  I chose a pair of gold sandals and gold bangles to bring out the belt. I originally liked the nails, but their appeal is slowly starting to diminish.   I  incorporated the coral and gold into my makeup, along with a little brown.  I kept my lips neutral and glossy.
Products used:
NYX single shadow in Aloha(shimmery beige)
Urban Decay Baked Shadow (gold)
MUFE Eyeshadow in #5 (bright coral)
Lancome Pink Safari Palette (the dark brown)
Clinique High Impact Mascara
The Body Shop Hi Shine Lip Treatment in Juicy Peach
Smashbox Camera Ready BB Cream
I used Aloha as an all over base and applied #5 on the lid. I applied a little bit of the dark brown from the Pink Safari Palette in the crease. This is a very dark brown, so be careful when applying; it can be easy to make it a little too dark.  In my case, I was so careful I actually think it is too light.  I applied Baked along the lower lash line and High Impact Mascara.  I applied Juicy Peach on my lips to keep the look light, fun and fresh.
