I'm here to inspire you to break out of the standard beauty industry mould and consider these 5 beauty careers as your dream job - check them out and tell me if it sounds like YOU!

The #girlboss game is real in the beauty field. For those with an entrepreneurial spirit, getting into the beauty industry is driven by a passion as well as a desire to run their own business. Whether it's a wedding makeup specialist, a cosmetic sales associate, or a masseuse, roles in the beauty field offer a real unique edge. Most of these service-based business ideas have relatively low start-up cost which make it easier for first-time entrepreneurs to break into. Find it hard to break into the publishing field? Why not get take control and have your words published on your own digital platforms? Let's get real, you don't have to be dolled up from head to toe yourself 24/7 to work in the beauty industry ( seriously, who's got time for that?), but you do have to appreciate beauty and love doing this to change lives of others. Having a fine eye for detail, a firm belief in beauty and a willingness to think way outside the square are great starting points if you're considering beauty as your long-term career.
