Chance The Rapper Bringing ASL Interpreters On Tour
Chance The Rapper is once again proving that he’s a stand-up guy and a rapper dedicated to making a difference. The Chicago emcee recently announced that he’s hired American Sign Language Interpreters for the remainder of his Be Encouraged tour.
This makes him the first rapper to personally select their own interpreters to take on a national tour.
Not only that, Chance is also offering 50 free front row tickets to each show for the deaf and hard of hearing. The interpreters are part of DEAFinitley Dope, a black-owned deaf-owned company that provides ASL interpretation for a variety of artists. Chance saw DEAFinitley Dope artists at a music festival and booked them immediately.

Chance The Rapper tour dates eligible for free tickets to deaf and hard of hearing are:
July 2: New Orleans – New Orleans Essence Festival
July 21: Hartford, Conn. – Hot Jam
July 22: Central Hall, Penn. – Karoondinha
Aug. 3-6: Chicago – Lollapalooza
Sept. 22-24: Las Vegas – Life is Beautiful
Oct. 3-4: Los Angeles – Hollywood Bowl
Oct. 6 and 13: Austin, Texas – Austin City Limits
Oct. 20-22: Phoenix, AZ – Lost Lake Festival
To request tickets in the ASL interpretation section for a show, email Kelly Kurdi at [email protected], text 832-551-7041, or submit your request on the website DEAFinitelyDope.com.
