When I'm at home working or just relaxing in my bedroom, I love lighting candles. I love the way they gradually add a pretty scent to my bedroom.Since I love candles so much, I usually buy huge jarred candles so I can let them burn for awhile.
But I recently was sent a Bath and Body Works mini White Barn candle to review. When I first looked at the candle, I thought it wouldn't have the same power to burn for a long time and that it would take longer to add scent to my room. I was also skeptical about the scent: Black Pepper Bergamot. I had never heard of the scent before.
Although, when I smelled the candle before lighting it, the scent was nice. After I let the candle burn for about a half hour, my entire room smelled amazing! The scent reminds me of a light men's cologne.
Now, before you think "Why would I want my room to smell like men's cologne?" Have you ever hugged a guy, and as you get real close to them you catch a slight whiff of their cologne? I love that.
The scent has a bit of a spicy and musk scent with a touch of lavender and bergamot -- a type of fragrant orange. I'm not a fan of candles or perfumes that smell super fruity or like food. This scent is neither of those things, and it wasn't overpowering either.
I would definitely recommend this brand and scent candle for you to try, especially if you love candles as much as I do. These mini candles are only $3.50 or two for $5 from Bath & Body Works.
