Bates Motel: TV Review
Bates Motel
My Thoughts:I saw Psycho a long, long, long, long, long time ago and now this prequel comes along and I say to that:Bates Motel: TV Review
Its a jumble of a lot of things at the moment, but its fun to watch. I really would like to see the outcome of a show like this. I don't know if it is suppose to be significant to the movie Psycho or not, but I suppose it would. I didn't really mind the fact that it was in the present, but what I did mind was the fact that it has mystery, but not where I really care about it as much, it was just like, WOAH. WOAH. But at the same time you're like, Why?The main reason I liked this show was because of the cast. Freddie Highmore, Vera Farmiga and Max Thierot. They are fantastic. And the cop, Netor Carbonell, all fantastic actors. I love their work and this is why I watch this show. They are why I like this show. Especially the way Freddie portrays Norman. Its the way he talks, the way he dresses and also the little twitch of his eye and the smile he has. Oh my god, when he gets a temper, too. Its to die for. Vera Farmiga is good as Norma Bates, not as good as Freddie, but good enough where you can believe that she is his mother. You can all they both her and Norman have something wrong with them. Like the way Norman looks at his mother, its not natural. She changes in front of him and says, "Oh Norman, I'm your mother. It's not like its weird or anything."Right.Okay.Max Thierot is also very likable, not in the way you'd expect though. And another thing I enjoy is the shots. The shots they have of the character's faces and the hotel. Its really, really good. I really want to find out what's going to happen with this show.
