True Blood creator Alan Ball’s new show Banshee has been renewed for a second season according to a recent report from The Wrap. This is a wonderful sign for the new show considering it only premiered on January 11th.
Banshee centers on the character played by leading man Anthony Star who is a thief recently released from prison and assumes the life of the new sheriff of Banshee, PA after he is killed in a fight just shortly before his arrival. Doing so allows him to continue his criminal activities.
The Cinemax series will also gain three new writers for its second season.
