Backstage and Front Seat at the BAPC Fashion ShowWhen Mario of the Bay Area Producers Conference reached out to invite me to their first annual fashion show, I was excited! When he was kind enough to put me on the VIP list and grant me access backstage, I was elated. Click below to see the experience through my eyes.

Backstage and Front Seat at the BAPC Fashion ShowMy favorite pieces came from designer Lia Larrea. She is a graduate of the Art Institute, and I absolutely love her work with leather! When her blue leather skirt walked down the runway, I gasped; I wanted it! I loved her use of fabric and the leather detailing. Here are some of her designs below:Backstage and Front Seat at the BAPC Fashion Show

The evening went great: there were several booths which showcased different local designers, make up artists, photographers, and local up and coming musical artists. The crowd was amazingly diverse: representing the entire Bay Area well. I ran into fashion show producer/actor Charleston Pierce while on my way out, and it was such a pleasant surprise! He had hosted a fashion show that I had attended a couple years ago, and had even remembered to wish me happy birthday. Such a pleasure. Thank you Mario for having me! It was a pleasure to attend.
