Backpacking Thailand: Bangkok and Krabi 7-Day Itinerary, Cost-Breakdown, and Highlights

The Itinerary

As much as possible, I don't really want to create a fully detailed itinerary because I'm a type of traveler who loves to just go on with the flow. I just want to enjoy whatever Thailand has to offer with me and also based on my own experiences, sixty percent of the time, I'm not able to follow everything that I've listed down on my itinerary. However, I don't want to experience again the nightmare of being offloaded and interrogated by the immigration officers. To avoid these hassles, I completed all the necessary documents and booked a hostel accommodation online in case the immigration officers ask where will I stay. The good thing was booking.com allows you to book online and pay it during your arrival so you can cancel it anytime without paying for the cancellation fee.

To give you some ideas of what to include in your itinerary, you can follow this guide. However, taking into consideration that these are the actual things that happened to me at my own time, own pace and mood. You opt to add other things to do or places to visit if you still have more time and energy. At the bottom of each 'Day' activity, I mentioned some suggestions that you can add.

Conclusion:

Thailand is definitely on top of the best countries that I will visit over and over again. This country is a backpacker and budget-friendly place. The beaches are stunning, jaw-dropping underwater scenery, interesting history, and very accommodating locals. I'm planning to visit again next year to see other places that I haven't visited yet.
