Mesoo, my 9 year old middle child, slipped me a note a while back. It said something like:"Dad, thank you for teaching me the Word of God and for helping me around the house. You are a great dad and I thank God I have a father like you."
I was so touched by it, especially since I was going through a lot at work and in life in general (that's why I haven't been posting a lot lately).
It's really true what Mark Twain said:
"I can live for two months on a good compliment."
Thank you for those wonderful words, my dear child, my buddy...and I thank God I have a daughter like you (and I thank Him for your awesome siblings as well).
