While her job demands her to constantly market her skills, she wants her writing to speak for itself, because life unveils itself in that form to her.

Q. Is Arya a semi-autobiographical character?Ketaki:        Haha, that's very 'direct' for the first Q on an interview! I mean, people who know me can map traits of the character in me and you seemed to have touched just the right chord, without knowing me in person! 

Well, yes, many of Arya's ideologies on love, relations and passion are same as mine, but rest of the story is a figment of my imagination.
In fact its born out of wishful thinking - Eg. Having a brother or I wish my bf had proposed to me like that etc
’You' yourself are the closest specimen under observation for any debut author, isn't it? I am constantly observing and analyzing not just others but also myself, I can be quite a critic that way but criticism is reserved more for self than others.
Q. What role does an author’s family and, friends and colleagues play in the successful completion of a novel?
Ketaki:        Once you have made up your mind to pen down a novel - family is the next most important element to make it happen; because writing is something that occurs anytime anywhere and that urge to pen down then and there, can only happen when you have full support from your family.
I had taken a sabbatical from work to complete my novel and I could do so only because of the support of family and my colleagues at work.
Q. When it is love vs. career, what should one choose?
