The brand I am referring to is home grown brand - Australis! I have had a couple of Australis products previously and have always loved the bright pink and funky image associated with the brand.
I recently got to try 2 of their latest releases: Australis All Over Face & Body Tint and Bronzing Primer
Australis All Over Face & Body Tint
This tint claims to "leave skin looking streak-free, supple and dewy" and I really have to agree. The formula is so light and has a runny consistency (it is a water-based formula) that spreads so easily and evenly across the face. It comes in a soft squeeze bottle with tip which I love; I can easily get just the amount of product I want. This is the shade Medium.
I would consider the coverage of this tint light; it is really sheer and natural. I would use this on days when my skin is clear and not in need of much coverage; it provides a beautiful and very natural glow. I don't have any bad pimples/acne at the moment so I actually don't really know how well it can cover it up but my guess is still that this product is best used if you want light, natural, dewy finish.
I also found it rather moisturizing and it's not surprising, given that it was made to "moisturize and condition the skin". Also, it contains "a natural blend of natural emollients including Jojoba, Pomegranate, Rosehip and Avocado oils". That all sounds really good. RRP: $19.95 (9ml). Australis Bronzing Primer
I love multi-tasking products and what better idea than to have bronzer and primer done in one go in the form of the Australis Bronzing Primer? I have never tried one as such before; heck, I don't even use bronzer or primer daily. This really peaked my interest and I am glad to report back that I really enjoyed using it.
This primer is "blended with Antioxidants, Vitamins A, C, E, Soybean oil, Carrot Oil and Aloe Vera" while protecting against free radicals.
I have to admit when I first saw it in the tube, I wasn't sure the shade would fit, it looked a little too orange. It is apt to say I approached it with caution. Imagine my surprise when it blended so well right into my skin. Here is a picture of the bronzing primer being blended into my wrist.
It blended in so well that I had to squint hard at the photo and put a box around where I've blended, lest it be missed. It has a beautiful pearlescent sheen to it and certainly gives the skin a "sunkissed glow", though I do wish it was a little less shiny. Other than that, I have nothing but praise for this awesome product. At $13.95 (30ml), it is a product I am rather impressed with.
