Athlete You Never Heard Of Got Asked I.D. To Enter Building Named After Him

By Nottheworstnews @NotTheWorstNews

CBC reports that at a Commonwealth Game event in Glasgow, Sir Chris Hoy was asked to show his I.D. to enter a venue named after him, the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome.

3 Questions Arise From This Story

1. Who is Sir Chris Hoy, and where is his I.D. so he can prove who he is? Just because you have apparently been knighted, don’t think you still don’t have to show your I.D. to get into events and rent VHS movies. When are you going to get with the times and get Netflix by the way.

2. Are the people at CBC News aware that every Academy Award nominee has to show their I.D. to get into the Academy Awards at the Dolby Theater? Yes, even Mr. Dolby, if he is ever nominated for “She Blinded Me With Science: The Musical!”

3. Why didn’t he make the building his photo I.D.? That would have solved this whole dilemma. Take notice, Olympians!
