The Athens International Ultramarathon Festival 2015 kicked off yesterday at 3 pm. Early leader is 2013 winner Greece’s Nikitas Nomikos ahead of Jacques Morel.
Martina Hausman (GER), the only female competitor in the 6 day, is in third place.
The 72 hour race starts on Thursday with three British participants, John and Lorna Maclean and Spenser Lane joining Australia’s Annabel Hepworth in a similar sized field as the 6 day.
Downloadable results are posted on the website at regular intervals ( looks like every 6 hours at the moment)
