What is #AskAwayFriday? This week I swapped with Stacey from This Momma’s Ramblings. We decided to switch it up a bit since we have already swapped in the past. So today on #ASKAWAYFriday edition, we are going to talk about our families back to school routine. Enjoy!
- What signifies that the end of Summer is here, for you?
Summer officially ends when my kids go back to school and things go back to normal. I am going to miss my older kids, they have been a huge help with my youngest son this summer.
- Does your family have a final hurrah of something fun to do before it is back to school for the kids?
We don’t usually plan anything special before school is back in session. My daughter starts band camp the first full week of August and she stays busy through the end of football season. I plan on taking the kids swimming a few more times before the end of the season.
- Since Labor Day is kind of the unofficial mark of the “End Of Summer”, does your family do anything special to celebrate Labor Day (fairs,picnics, cook outs, parades)?
We don’t usually do anything special unless you count enjoying an extra day together with the family.
- What does your kids’ “Back to School” lists look like?
I decided to actually beat the crowds this year and I ordered my older son a bunch of clothes online today. I still have to buy his athletic uniform and all of his school supplies. I still need to get my daughter a few more pants for this fall and get her school supplies.
