As one travels through life, there are times when decisions have to be made, even when the choices are hard and solutions seem scarce. There are situations where all one can do is let go and move on, gather one’s courage and choose a direction that carries one toward a new dawn.
One has to pack up one’s troubles and take a step forward even though the process of change can be rough. We have to try searching for the good things ahead. There might be adventures we never imagined awaiting around the next bend. Some of our dreams might even come true. One never knows.
There are many options in life . Travel, for instance … who knows? We might see places we never dreamed of and visit exciting worlds. Knowing that our friends are supportive of what we do, might help. I have learned to put one foot in front of the other and take things one day at a time. There might be a brighter tomorrow ahead and it might be better if we learn not to look back all the time; look forward rather. And I always remember my husband’s favorite saying;
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.
