Artists On The Rise: Smallpools

Smallpools is an four-member band of singer/song-writers  from Los Angeles California. They focus on the genres of indie pop and alternative dance band that formed in 2013 which consists of consists of Sean Scanlon on vocals, Mike Kamerman on guitars, Joseph Intile on bass and Beau Kuther on drums. After their debut single was released via RCA Records on July 16, 2013: “Dreaming” charted at number one on The Hype Machine. They also peaked at number 23 on Billboard’s Alternative Songs charts.

Their first album “Have a great summer “which features their first hit single “dreaming “was released in early spring of 2014. They released their first single for the album “over and over” as a promotional video for snapchat, but their biggest hit has been their song “dreaming”.

A 2014 world cup soundtrack.  The gentlemen have also announced that sometime in the beginning of 2015 they will release their second album. Although the men haven’t had a long journey together, they have had a wonderful start.  However, Mike Kamerman and Sean Scalnon have had a longer experience in preforming. They both performed with various bands since 2007, which makes their victory much more rewarding. These men work diligently at what they truly desire, and their road to the limelight will be a sweet reward.
