Artist On The Rise: Ryn Weaver

This week’s artist On the Rise is Ryn Weaver, Born in Encinitas, California  the 10th of August 1992.  The 22 year old,  Erin Michelle Wütrich (Aryn Wüthrich) , is better known by her stage name Ryn Weaver, is an American Pop, Indie-Pop, Singer-Songwriter who first gained attention with the release of her hit single “OctaHate” in June 2014. Billboard deemed the single a viral sensation.

“OctaHate” made it up to number one spot on the Billboard Emerging Artists Chart on June 25, 2014.  Since the release of “OctaHate” Weaver has released “Promises EP” on her Soundcloud account. She is also currently working with Blanco and several others on new music. Weaver is set to perform at several major music festivals in 2015, including Coachella, Bonaroo and Lollapalooza.
This singer has been active since 2014 to present and thus far she has started her career with a bang. Signed to Blanco’s indie imprint, Friends Keep Secrets, Weaver made her first successful live show at Benny Blanco’s. It was the turning point in her career.  Although she hasn’t had a long run like most of her peers, Ryn has a talent that will take her a long way.
