The Art Trail Members Exhibit opens at the CAPS Gallery in Ithaca, NY this week. Come to a reception from 5 to 8 Friday night, July 6. The 29 artists who will be exhibiting represent a wide varity of work, including paintings, prints, photographs, sculpture, fiber art, ceramics, and mosaics. The exhibit will run until July 31st. This is an opportunity to get a preview of the art available on the Greater Ithaca Art Trail this year.
Twelve of the Art Trail artists will have open studios this Saturday, July 7, from 10 to 2. Visitors will get a chance to see where the art is made and to talk to the artists about their process and intention. Here is a sampling of their work:
