Nail art is, well, basically art on your nails and it’s becoming more and more popular by the day. It was huge in 2012 and it’s set to soar in this upcoming year.
People are now beginning to not only just do the simple dots or stars but, also experiment with copying art work. One example is that of people copying/being inspired by the artist Banksy.
It’s not only us that are trying nail art – celebrities are at it too. One celebrity that is a huge fan of it is Zooey Deschanel. Deschanel can nearly always be seen to have some sort of pattern/art on her nails. Another thing that proves her love for nail art is her recent interview with Glamour magazine (out in February) where she is featured on the cover with the “Bandana” look.
I can’t see this trend fading away fast and what with the likes of Deschanel being a trendsetter for it, I definitely think it’ll be around for a while.
