Are You A Product Junkie?

By Ipage @xquisite_curls
Hi. My name is Imani, and I'm addicted to buying new hair products. I have tried to deny that I have an addiction, but that's no longer possible.

You know you're a Product Junkie when:
- You plan what you're going to buy next before leaving the store.
- You have jars and jars of partially used hair products.
- You have enough products to open a beauty supply store.
- You like the product that you currently use but you always think the grass is greener with another product.
- The hair supply store owner knows you by name.
- The same hair supply store owner sets aside new products for you to try each week.
- You've forgotten which products work well and which ones didn't.
- "Hair products" has its own line in your monthly budget.
Since discovering my love for the Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie, I'm now obsessed with trying all things Shea Moisture. Today I bought the Coconut & Hibiscus Moisture Mist to help maintain my finger coils between co washes and deep conditions. I was also in the market for a new leave-in conditioner, since I discovered that the Cantu Shea Butter leave-in cream has canola oil as it's second ingredient after water. I don't dislike the way is works on my hair, but I simply don't like the thought of using canola oil in my hair. I decided to go with the As I Am leave-in conditioner because 1. I've heard good reviews about the As I Am product line and 2. The beauty supply store didn't have a Shea Moisture leave-in. I'm soooo looking forward to tomorrow's co wash session to try these products out!
As for the previous changes to my maintenance routine, the LOC method has really made a big difference in my hair. Moisture is not an issue any longer. Any "scab hair" that I may or may not have had is gone.  My curl definition is awesome and I think my hair texture is between a 3C and 4A but I guess I'll know for sure as my hair grows out more. Finding the right products has really made a huge difference in the look and feel of my hair. Follow the suggestions of others but don't be afraid to do what works for you. Are you a product junkie? What are you're favorite hair products?
