This month I’ve been trying to save money so I’ve really had to cut back on buying makeup and jewellery. I’ve kept it cheap, so here’s my April 2014 jewellery and nail polish haul.
I really like the H & M nail polish. The blue (Serenity Now) is amazingly rich and the polish is surprisingly good. You can read the review of it here. The way it goes with copper or rose gold jewellery is even better, so I experimented a little bit with some rings which are also from H&M.
Originally I had 3 rings which looked like the gold one; two separate rings with pillars, but the gold and copper ones broke really quickly. Within hours. Anyway, these 3 rings come in a pack and cost £3.99.
The rose gold single rings come in in various sizes and there are 17 of them. They can be placed above or below the knuckles, but they bend and snap really easily. They cost £1.99 so very cheap, but they do feel cheap.
Despite the rings being naff quality, they do look nice. They’re subtle but they compliment the blue nail polish well. I doubt they will last long though!
