Apple Officially Announce September 12th New iPhone Event
It seems strange now being less than a week away from the unveiling of the most highly anticipated iPhone launch in history! But, we are. Just one week to go until Apple unveils this new device. We had previously assumed that Apple would be unveiling the device during the media event they had scheduled for September 12th, but we couldn’t know for sure as Apple wouldn’t confirm anything. But, that has now changed. Apple has sent out invites for the September 12th event pretty much confirming what’s going down.
The event is going to take place at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco starting at 10:00AM on September 12th.
The image at the top of this post is an official image released by Apple to promote the event, if you take a look at the shadow you’ll notice it’s in the shape of a ‘5’ – does this mean the new iPhone is going to be called the iPhone 5 after-all? It certainly seems that way, why else would Apple put the 5 there on the picture?
toolbar makerThe new iPhone 5 is rumoured to have an all new design from the iPhone 4S, it’s supposed to be much quicker in terms of processing power and browsing speeds – thanks to 4G LTE Networking, it’s also got a much improved screen with a higher screen resolution, and a slightly taller display. One thing which you probably have heard about the new iPhone is the new design – this is something which pretty much everyone is excited about. The new iPhone design looks similar to the iPhone 4S, maintaining that minimalistic Apple style feel, but it incorporates some new materials into the fascia of the device. The back-plate on the new iPhone looks like a metallic type material, giving it a much more professional appearance to it.
I can’t wait to see the new device, and we have just a week to go! I wonder how much they will price the new iPhone at – it’s not going to be cheap.
