Anthony Hamilton is one of those artists, who not only sings R&B music, but also sings about his love for God. He is unapologetic about his faith, and often shares that without his faith he would have given up.
“Not only am I a father, I want to show some integrity, show integrity for my community, and my people — and then come out and celebrate other people who have like minds and like spirits. It is very important,” Hamilton said.
Hamilton shared some of the life experiences that pushed him to rely upon his longtime faith.
“I have had some series of events in my life, been adopted. I know my parents, but life had its way,” he said. “Without faith, I would have given up. God knows where I would be now. Definitely wouldn’t be on this red carpet.”
