Announcing Closer - the Electronic Music Festival in Portland!
Celebrating Portland’s unique and vibrant underground techno and house music scenes, Closer 2011 is a three-day, multi-venue festival event featuring the best in modern electronic dance music.
In its debut year, Closer features 25 local djs and live electronic music performers, along with special guests from Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle. Local and guest performers include artists from Portland-based independent record labels and collectives including Nude Photo Music, SubSensory Recordings, Bassland, Alga-Rhythms and Click Track Lab.
“In addition to the great guests, this year’s lineup includes some of the Portland scene’s most respected and influential talent,” said Gustavo Lanzas, an organizer for the event. “These are artists who’ve given back to the scene by producing original music, organizing events and helping push Portland’s electronic music culture beyond city limits.”
The line-up includes Bryan Zentz, Jerry Abstract, Let's Go Outside, Audioelectronic, JAK, Trevor Vichas, Chris Firenze and many more. For full lineup click here.
