If you're thinking that this post will be about how much I love the Anna Dello Russo for H&M capsule collection after seeing its beautiful pieces in a press event, well you got it all wrong. First of all, I wasn't invited to any (the invitation surely got lost in the mail) but more importantly I'm far from loving this collection.
I don't question the icon status of Miss Dello Russo or her unique sense of style, but trying to reinterpret her amazing wardrobe and luxurious accessories with cheap H&M quality pieces will turn out exactly that, a collection of cheap-looking pieces. Undeniably, some of the pieces don't look so bad on the pictures but I can only imagine how cheap they will actually look in real life. Here is a commercial video featuring Anna Dello Russo herself, no comment.
