In New Zealand, debate is raging about the use of animals to test legal highs. I know that to some degree animal testing will always have to happen, but so that we can safely get smashed on the weekends? Imagine if someone injected you with drugs without your permission and you couldn't voice your pain. Nobody deserves that life.
It has me thinking about all the products I use that are probably animal tested and I feel a little sick to my stomach. As I took my photos for today, which included the lovable pets I am looking after at the moment, I felt much more aware.
