Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie On the Way?

Posted on the 20 November 2012 by Nrjperera @nrjperera

It’s been only few weeks since Google introduced their latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean along with Nexus 4. And now things are already heating up for the next version of Android 5.0 , which is rumored to be named as Key Lime Pie.

According to the latest reports from Phone Arena, a small hint about the Android 5.0 has appeared on this unknown Sony LT30i device NenaMark benchmark charts. As you can see on the image below, it shows the Android version to be 5.0.0. And this alleged device seems to be powered by a 1.6 GHz Qualcom Adreno 220 processor and a display with 1280 x 720 resolution.

Google’s recently released Android 4.2 was barely an update to their previous Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS. So, it’s not really a miracle to see them already working on the next version. Rumors has just began and we will get to see more updated information about this very soon.

We are still not sure if this is just a fake story. Even the device specs doesn’t seem like Android 5.0 material. But if it’s true, Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie will probably be revealed during the upcoming Mobile World Congress 2013 event. Let’s keep our fingers crossed.

Are you excited for the next Android update?
