It’s a fine line between cheesy and perfect when talking sax solos. A line that is very, very easily crossed without intention — luckily for the phenomenal singer-songwriter Andrew St. James’ track “5 Years” he

stays firmly on the side of great. The track perfectly mixes St. James’ resonant lyrics and lovely Vic Chesnett-esq voice with lush instrumentation, including that aforementioned sax solo. It’s the lyrics, however, that really allow the track to soar. “5 Years” really allows the poetry of St. James songwriting to shine — it’s the prefect mix of modern and old folk that immediately draws you in. Check out the track above and get ready to hit repeat over and over.
