This grey turtleneck is my final piece of the FIVE PIECE FRENCH WARDROBE from last season. It’s cashmere, was purchased on sale, and been in heavy rotation lately. Turtlenecks can be ‘so serious’ sometimes. I guess I’m thinking of the existentialists from the 50s. Why not have some fun by pairing it with faux fur?! So that’s what I did! I’ve also worn it solo with a flare skirt at work, under a leather jacket on the weekends, and with skinny jeans.
The Style Rx: Turtleneck or rollneck sweaters can be serious, preppy, sexy, or fun! It’s a versatile piece and a must-have for the closet. Choose cashmere for warmth or knit for elegant layering. {Hard to beat this Ralph Lauren for $19!} *BTW, Forever 21 has a great faux fur selection if you’re on a budget!
