1. Last week David and I took a trip into Glasgow to get some Christmas shopping done. I'm happy to say that the vast majority of my shopping is done now and I've already wrapped most of the presents up as I just couldn't help myself! It was lovely to take a walk around the German market and I scoffed a Buffalo burger for my lunch which was soooo good. Glasgow at Christmas time just makes me so happy as the decorations are so lovely, although  there was a sombre atmosphere after the terrible Clutha helicopter crash which happened just over a week ago. My heart goes out to those who lost their lives and everyone else who has been affected by this horrible accident.
2. I've been living in comfy jumpers, black jeggings and my cosy coat from TK Maxx for the past few weeks as winter has well and truly arrived. The weather has been so cold and dull so being cosy is an absolute must, and we also experienced stormy weather on Thursday so staying indoors has been very much advised. I've been doing some extra hours at work because of the Christmas rush so at least I've been kept busy, but unfortunately this has made blogging a bit harder. I'm trying to post every day in December for Blogmas and so far it's going well!
3. I received some lovely things in the mail over the last couple of weeks but my favorite has to be the lovely Christmas surprise (pictured above) that was sent to me from the St. Enoch Centre. It's full of some fab party season essentials and I can't wait to post about them all at some point this week. I also received some gorgeous nail polishes which I'm so excited to share with you tomorrow and a box full of goodies to try as I'm taking part in the Scottish Blogger Network Christmas Collab.
4. The most exciting thing to happen during the last two weeks was definitely getting my engagement ring back after it was resized. Although I was there and got my finger sized when the ring was chosen back in August, it was still a bit too small and I finally got around to taking it back into the jewellers to get it resized. It was only away for a few days but it felt like such a long time and I was so happy to have it back on my finger and fitting perfectly! For someone who never wore rings before getting engaged, it's amazing to think that I just feel lost without my ring now.
