An Event Like No Other. The Old Forest School Summer Fair (my Favourite BOP Wedding Venue!)

On Sunday the 26th October a very special event took place at my favorite wedding venue in the Bay of Plenty, Old Forest School. The first one ever and the first of its kind (anywhere as far as I know) and an event I wish, wish, WISH I could have attended! The Summer Fair at Old Forest School included not only couples who have booked the venue for their upcoming wedding but also brought back those fab couples who had previously celebrated their wedding at the magical venue. Sooooo much love!

Over 120 guests attended, arriving early and staying right through to the end. With name tags on and wedding dates discussed, friendships blossomed. A little bird told me there were brides in tears and squeals of delight, each so excited about having discovered this perfect venue! (some even turned out to be old school friends!) To be honest I am not at all surprised, I mean just look at the place! Super special, low key, fun, relaxed, GORGEOUS and run by the most fabulous family I know!

Old Forest School has a special FB group just for the brides where they share ideas, give support, buy and sell props and make friends. This was set up and is managed by one of the lovely brides, Hannah. It is supplier free and is there so that brides can natter about all things wedding, tips and tricks included. Old Forest School is such a special place that it was actually the brides that suggested the get together! Fancy that!

The Summer Fair was not only a blimin good excuse for a get together BUT also a fantastic opportunity to unveil the new barn (which is ridiculously amazing!) plus the creation of a mini wedding show was the perfect chance to showcase the venues favorite suppliers.
