An Evening at #RescueTheRunway

Last week we posted the deets about the first annual Rescue the Runway, featuring Boston's Finest.
Well, we finally got to go and can't wait to share our evening with you!
The event took place last Sunday in the packed grand ballroom at the Colonnade Hotel in Boston with each table being adorned with a dog bone centerpiece where guests snacked on local light fare and cocktails.
They had some fabulous silent auction items along with samples of dog treats to take home.
Here are just a few... An Evening at #RescueTheRunway The two ladies (top left) behind this amazing event were Brittany Bang (founder of Audrey's Rescue Angels) and Michelle Fournier (Durty Harry's).
The evening hosts (bottom right) that kept the audience entertained for the evening were Jen Royle from the Boston Herald and Danielle Murr from WAAF.
An Evening at #RescueTheRunway Twenty three Boston celebrity models strutted their stuff down the runway each accompanied by the most adorable adoptable dogs.
The dogs were definitely the hit of the show, each being greeted at the end of the runway with kisses, hugs and affection from adoring guests and hopefully potential adoptees.

An Evening at #RescueTheRunway Mike Nalopi from the Boston Red Sox accompanied by, Drambuie.

An Evening at #RescueTheRunway It was an amazing night for such a great cause! Everyone was in awe of all these dogs who were brave enough to walk down the runway like rockstars without a care in the world as to who was at the other end of the leash.
We are keeping our fingers crossed that they all get adopted very soon to a forever home they truly deserve!
All the proceeds raised from the evening will go towards 4 groups, PAWS New EnglandLucky Lab RescueLast Hope K9 Rescue and the MSPCA
