Happy Monday, Fit Friends! I come to you today as a 4th time Marathoner!!! That's right, mere hours ago, I crossed the finish line of the NYC Marathon. While I didn't hit my A goal, the race was still epically amazing, and I walked away with a new PR!! Stay tuned to this week's Wild Workout Wednesday for the recap!
On another exciting note, I already love our new apartment down in Austin, and I haven't even seen it in person. "How is that even possible?" you ask.
The building's management company is hosting a recipe contest for all of their buildings across the nation, and guess what?
I'M A FINALIST!The contest called residents of every building across the US to submit their best "comfort food" recipe. Of course, I had to go with my kickass Gluten Free Chicken and Waffles!
So now I come to you asking for your vote! The person with the most votes will win a dinner party at their apartment with a private chef and up to 10 of their friends, as well as up to $500 in culinary prizes!
Sounds like a great way to make new friends in a new city (Hello, will you be my friend? I have free food? - works every time), and I'm always down for culinary prizes!
