Hi, Everyone! I hope you all are doing well. It's being the longest time that I have written about fashion stories. If you all follow me on my Facebook page, then you would know that a few days back I had put up behind scene pictures of Amity University Super Model Hunt 2017.
I collaborated with Amity School of Fashion Design and Technology, Mumbai as their title sponsor. Ever since I started blogging, I never thought even in my wildest dreams to be the title sponsor of a Super Model Hunt. Destiny has its own plan and sometimes you let destiny decide things for you. I certainly had no confidence to do this, but I owe this to my dear friend Geetika Chaturvedi, who motivated and convinced me to do this.
The journey started with 80 registrations following a Poster shoot in November. In the next phase, all the 80 contestants were trained under Former Gladrags Miss Mumbai 2013 - Dimple Antony where 40 contestants were shortlisted.
To judge and groom our models for grand finale we had Former Ford Supermodel Winner - Ms. Megha Talekar Sarkar, who has represented India in various fashion weeks abroad.Through several rounds of individual walk accompanied with group choreography, she selected our 22 deserving finalists comprising of 12 girls and 10 boys.
The Grand Finale of the Amity Super Model hunt 2017 took place on 2nd February 2017. Top personalities from fashion and modeling industry judged the event to select the winners. Ms. Nishita Purandare, Miss India Tiara Global 2017, Ms. Jennifer Chen, Miss India Tiara Global Finalist, Mr. Praanav, Costume stylist of Jacqueline Fernandez, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Mouni Roy, Gautam Gulati, Gauhar Khan, etc and Ms. Megha Talekar Sarkar, Former Ford Supermodel Winner were the eminent juries of the grand-finale.
The theme of model hunt finale was "EthnoChic", which was a fusion of modern and traditional outfits.The students of Amity School of Fashion Designing and Technology styled the models with respect to costumes whereas Afiya Malek, top makeup artist helped in styling the models.
The finale consisted of Two Rounds,
Round 1: The participants had to go through a fashion choreography where their ramp walk and attitude was judged.
After the round I, the judges selected top 6 girls and boys who then went through round 2.

The winner of AUM SuperModel Hunt 2017 were,
Amaan Khan - Male Winner
Deeksha Singh - Female Winner
The winners received hampers from Lotus Herbals and Titan Skinn perfumes.
