True Blood alumna Amelia Rose Blaire is returning to the horror genre with a pivotal role in MTV’s Scream.
Blaire, who co-starred as Eric’s progeny Willa Burrell on True Blood, will recur on Scream as Piper Shay, the smart, quirky host of a wildly popular podcast who comes to town to investigate the recent deaths.
Additional Scream cast members include Willa Fitzgerald (Royal Pains) as shy-yet-popular Emma Duvall, Bex Taylor-Klaus (Arrow) as preacher’s daughter Aubrey Jensen and Carlson Young (Key and Peele) as bubbly ringleader Brooke Maddox.
Scream makes its MTV debut on Tuesday, June 30.
