Always Learning, Evolving, Improving - Texas Conference for Women

By Michelle Hernandez @Familylovesa
Always learning, evolving, improving - Texas Conference for WomenBefore I die I want to... I mean, I think it's an everyday, driving force in my life. Trying to accomplish what I can, enjoy moments, create moments before my time is up. And because of that, I always want to learn, evolve and improve myself. I'll be going to the Texas Conference for Women this October.
If you haven't heard about it, it's a great opportunity to network, connect with business colleagues, friends, find motivation and learn from nationally recognized speakers and leaders. Not to mention, when one of your closest friends speaks at a conference, you try your best to go. This year, my amiga Melanie from Que Means What will be participating in the Social Media Roundtable!
Always learning, evolving, improving - Texas Conference for WomenThis year, Keynote Speakers include Bert Jacobs, Robin Roberts, Patricia Arquette and creator of the Before I Die project, Candy Chang!
Earlier this year, San Antonio unveiled it's newest addition to the project on Houston and Navarro, on the Houston Street Garage.
Also of interest for us busy-do-everything mamas is "Unfinished Business: Women Men Work Family: A Conversation with Anne-Marie Slaughter." With tracks on Leadership, Career Advancement, Emerging Professionals, Transitions, Health & Wellness, Personal Development and even a Young Women's Program, you won't want to miss. So grab your amigos and spend a day in Austin with us!
If you can't attend this October 15th, be sure to follow @TexasWomen on Twitter, along with me @mchellrodriguez and my friends @mendezgonzales and @mommaofdostx as we will be live tweeting the entire time!
