Always Discreet, Never Ashamed | Marilu Henner & Always Discuss Sensitive Bladders

There's an issue that seems to be very taboo among women, so much so that women prefer to suffer in silence rather than tell anyone, even loved ones don't know they suffer through this condition. That condition is sensitive bladders. Did you know that 40 million American women of all ages are affected by sensitive bladders? More than 40% over the age of 40 suffer from it but it can affect women of all ages. Many women stop participating in their favorite activities because they're afraid of accidental leakage. Always, a global leader in feminine protection with a long history of meeting the needs of women, has launched Always Discreet, a new product line for women with sensitive bladders that revolutionizes the way women manage and view their sensitive bladders.

To help celebrate with the launch, and to get women talking about what has been a taboo subject, Marilu Henner, along with some amazing lifestyle experts, Barbara Hannah Grufferman, Positive Aging Expert, Dr. Marla Shapiro, Medical Expert, and Valerie Waters, Fitness Expert and Celebrity Trainer, were on hand to introduce Always Discreet and discuss what many women hide from friends and family.

The event encouraged all to attend, in their best 80's workout outfit. That's right, it was all legwarmers, leotards and headbands, as we were in for some Dancerobics from the master herself, Marilu Henner. While we participated for a while, we had to capture great atmosphere of this fun experience.

You may be thinking, what does exercise have to do with bladder protection? A sensitive bladder affects one in every three women, ages 18 to 75 when they’re doing everyday things such as dancing, laughing, exercising or just going about their daily lives. Always Discreet introduces three products - Liners, Pads, and Underwear, which are designed to offer incredible comfort, protection and discretion, in a flattering feminine design, that absorbs leaks and odors in seconds.

The Always Discreet pads are up to 40 percent thinner than competitive brands (see above for how 6 pads stack up against other leading brands) and absorb twice as much fluid, twice as quickly, as needed. The disposable Always Discreet underwear hugs your curves, making it feel like real underwear; this discreet, easy-to-wear bladder protection product provides extra protection thanks to its Dual Leakguard barriers that helps stop leaks where they are most likely to happen.

On the new Always Discreet website, women can learn more about sensitive bladder issues and how to manage them comfortably and confidently, get tips, facts, and articles written by experts on fitness, health and aging. For women who are not quite ready to talk openly, it features an anonymous forum for women to ask experts questions and connect with other women, similar to what we had at the event.
