Actor Akshay Kumar Initially Didn’t Understand The Script Of Special Chabbis

Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar, who portrays the role of Ajay Singh in Special Chabbis says, it took him three-four months to say yes to Special Chabbis, as he couldn’t understand the script initially, which carries an important message.

The 45 year old actor said: “It took me around three-four months. The first time I read the script, I didn’t understand. Sometimes you don’t understand a script until somebody narrates it to you.”

The actor further added: “My role is of a very simple man and how his life is shaken up. What happens to a common man and to what limit can he go? The film is based on that.”

Special Chabbis is an upcoming drama film written and directed by Neeraj Pandey (A Wednesday). It is produced by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures and Friday Filmworks. Music for the film is given by M. M. Kreem and Himesh Reshammiya.

The movie is based on a real story that happened in 1986-87. It is about a group of 26 men who rob rich businessmen and industrialists by posing as CBI and Incom Tax Officials.

The star casts include Akshay Kumar, Kajal Aggarwal, Anupam Kher, Manoj Bajpai, Jimmy Shergill and Divya Dutta.

Special Chabbis will hit theatres on February 8th, 2013.
