Fancy a peek inside to see what the new Innis & Gunn Beer Kitchen on Ashton Lane in Glasgow's West End will look like? 'course you do!

This is the fourth, and the largest Innis and Gunn Beer Kitchen. If you are wondering where it is, it's where Ketchup used to be. The new venue will be the Scottish brewer's flagship bar and restaurant and will feature the brewer's first on-site microbrewery.

Dougal Gunn Sharp, Innis & Gunn's Founder and Master Brewer commented:

The Beer Kitchen Ashton Lane is a fantastic new opening for us, putting our first onsite microbrewery on the map in Glasgow's craft beer scene will give us even more opportunities to experiment with great new beers, and we can't wait to get started. Every one of our Beer Kitchens completely embodies our passion for flavour and quality, and we are delighted to have the opportunity to bring the Innis & Gunn experience right to the heart of Glasgow's West End.

The Beer Kitchen Ashton Lane will be the first Innis & Gunn Beer Kitchen to brew onsite. Using it's three two and a half hectolitre tanks to provide some new flavours and some special edition brews. Head Brewer Digger Robinson has already created 3 special brews for the opening. Ashton Lane Pale Ale (4.0% ABV) Table Beer (3.5% ABV) and Marshmallow Milk Stout (4.0% ABV).

This will be the largest of the beer kitchens spread over three floors and with a capacity of 396! There will be 17 keg taps, 3 cask taps and over 50 packaged craft beers - so you won't go thirsty! The ground floor will house the open plan microbrewery. The 1st floor will be a casual dining experience and the 2nd Floor will house the Attic Bar, which will serve cocktails and hoptails.

To further celebrate the opening Innis & Gunn has collaborated with local artist Lynn Howarth to provide customers with bespoke portrait paintings made with...beer! On Saturday 15 April, Lynn Howarth will be in residence in the bar from 2-4pm.
