Art & Design Magazine
In June of 2009, I wrote on this blog about a new magazine titled "Modern." I was a fan from the beginning and so I was delighted when the editor agreed to publish one of my articles in their Winter 2011 issue. This is an important milestone in my writing career because although I have been published abroad on numerous occasions, this is the first time that an article of mine is being published in my home country. The article, "The Lion of Judah and the Unicorn", is about the wonderfully interesting and not well-known jeweler, Sah Oved. The title refers to two of her pieces of jewelry which were inspired by Jewish folklore. The issue is now on newsstands, pick it up and let me know what you think.
