Do you dread the question, "What do you do?"  We often just say that "I am a dentist or I am an accountant".  But the problem with this is that you tend to say the boring response and typical repsonse of "I am a graphic designer."  Etc.  USually an awkward silence because they don't completely understand what you do or blank stare because they already have a preconceived idea of what that is and relate you to it now (accountants are so boring!)
Well, I just had a lightbulb moment after reading the book Book Yourself Solid about how you are so much more than your one word profession and that we need to toss out the generic labels of teacher, designer, etc.  Instead set yourself a part from everyone else and make yourself unique during introductions.  The secret is two easy steps:
1) "You know how"
2) "Well, what I do is"
