A Little Chit Chat and My Input on the Mirina Collections Scam

By Kwilliford @ExquisiteEczema
Happy Friday, everyone!
I am sorry for being somewhat absent this week. A lot has been going on, and as a result, I am quite tired. My grandma had to have her fistula for dialysis removed at the beginning of the month, so we are going through preparations to get a new one in addition to my regular care taking duties. Exhausting, yes, but it keeps me on my toes.
I do have some more reviews coming as well as a couple of FOTD's. The first one is actually from a couple of days ago. Originally, I wasn't going to post it because I wasn't 100% happy with how it turned out. But I figured what the heck? Why not share a blooper? The next one I would like to do is my go to look for the week. I have been gravitating towards a particular look because it is easy while also helping me look more put together.
I have also used sheet masts for the last 4 nights and I am amazed at how my skin has improved. My acne scars look a lithe better, my skin feels more hydrated, and the overall texture is much better. If you haven't jumped on the sheet mask bandwagon, try it out.
If you are a beauty blogger or MUA with an Instagram account, chances are you have been contacted by Mirina Collections to be an ambassador. I was contacted by them many months ago and I did join their program. I received my necklace, coupon code, and I even used my special ambassador code to buy things for myself. I didn't have much of an issue with them. One of their perks for joining was being able to network and get your name out there. That didn't happen. They did not post a single one of my  pictures and nothing about any networking opportunity was mentioned. After that, I quit promoting them because there was no point. They do make you pay a crazy shipping amount for a "free" necklace, which is how they get you. Apparently people have been able to find the same necklaces on Ebay, Amazon, and various other sites for A LOT cheaper. A lot of the girls have received damaged necklaces, if the even get them at all. They are refusing refunds for many and they have made it almost impossible for their ambassadors to get one. I have deleted all of my photos and posts about them because I don't want to be associated with such a brand. I unfollowed their main IG page and I was blocked as a result. The same has happened to anyone calling them out on their crap.
A lot of the codes given to ambassadors do not even work, including mine. I think this is a recent issue because I have kept tabs on mine and it has always worked.

Thanks for nothing, guys. However, I do actually like the stuff I have from them. I was lucky in that my necklace arrived in one piece and it is still in good shape.
This is a condensed version of the ordeal, but if you want to see more, there is an account called @mirinacollectionsscam that is highlighting everything that is wrong with Mirina Collections. If you have been contacted by them, please look at this page and read the stories of their "ambassadors."
I just wanted to take a few minutes to address that and let you know what is coming up.
See you soon! And be careful out there. I know the weather is going to be dicey out there for many people, so please stay safe.
See you soon!
