A Gun Metal Gray Day

It's is such a gray day for me. It is cloudy here and the house is quiet and the feel of Fall is in the air. I am also reflecting on all the great losses we have had this past year. The one that was a big surprise was poor Joan. Yes, I know she was 81 but that woman was full of life. I was just watching her express her heart felt sadness over Robin Williams just a few week ago but then she followed it up in true Joan style with a crazy off the cuff joke. She always made me laugh even when I didn't want to. I feel gray but Joan had more glitz than gray so I thought a gunmetal gray may be the true color of today. See she can still make me laugh even though I cried watching E last night and the moving tribute to her and her family! I hope that soon Melissa can look back upon her Mother's life and smile. credit
