A Dream.

Yes I have been reading Edgar Allen Poe lately. He was such a genius, morbidly. I absolutely love his poems and short stories. But I wrote this poem in different stages, right before I fell asleep, in the car waiting for a friend and after a long day at work. Tried to create a mix of different situations there. Do you relate to it?
A Dream.
She dreamt a little dream
Like dew that settles on surface
And trickles along as hurried beads of water
A dream dreamt at such circumstances
That it was due only to time
And nothing else
There was a dream
Settled like a birds nest
On the branches of an enduring tree
Waiting for its birds to fly away
Fixed there by a pair of brown eyes
From across a window sill
Hoping for a fateful morning
For something to happen
Many dreams wander in this city
Walking on a street
Floating across a river
Flying among lofty clouds
Falling from the 27th level of a building
Sometimes disowned, sometimes
Still held on to, in the tight nervous clutch
Of someone's hand, sometimes
Hanging on a string, and sometimes
In quick clickety clacks of a keyboard
Who doesn't live on a dream?
Who doesn't dream a dream?
When everything that exists was once nothing but a dream.
A Dream.
