Some of the .Brand applications passing today was Visa Credit Cards application for .Visa; Safeway Grocers application for .Safeway; Sony’s application for .Playstation; Japanese Internet giant Sina applications for .Sina and .Weibo; Orange Brand Services application for .Orange; Pitney Bowes application for .Pitney; Drug giant Merck application for .Merck.
ICANN has now evaluated all applications through 1,700 with 1,579 getting a decision.
