HEY! THERE ARE SOME GAME OF THRONES SPOILERS HERE, SO IF YOU DON’T WANNA KNOW, THEN DON’T READ IT. AND IF YOU READ IT AND YOU GET PISSED THAT WE SPOILED, I WILL HAVE NO SYMPATHY FOR YOU AT ALL, BECAUSE YOU BROUGHT IT UPON YOURSELF.

So, guys… how about that episode of Game of Thrones last night. That was a pretty lovely wedding right?! Personally, I loved the part where Joffery cut the pie and then promptly started bleeding from the eyes and mouth and died in what looked like unspeakable agony. Oh, Margery’s necklace was really tasteful too. All in all a great wedding. In order to properly celebrate the nuptials, we’ve created a playlist for all your purple wedding needs.

1. Ding Dong the Witch… – The Wizard of Oz

I mean, obviously. Seriously, like I wasn’t going to start with this — who do you think I am?

2. I Shot the Sheriff – Bob Marley

Again, this is a little on the nose, but really perfectly on the nose. Though, I suppose it would have been less awesome if Joffery was shot (or stabbed).

3. The Rains of Castamere – Sigur Ros

Did you know they were on the show last night and sang this song? Cause they were and they did.

4. Purple Yellow Red…Blue – Portugal. The Man

All the colors Joffery turned! Like, actually though, go look at the pictures.

5. Calamity Song –  The Decemberists

This song is from an album called The King is Dead, which is definitely spot on and awesomely appropriate. Just imagine yourself singing the “a ooos” right along with the rest of the mad-king-free Westeros.

6. Feral Love – Chelsea Wolfe

This was the song in the previews for the season — it also perfectly sets the mood for all types of regicide that you may, or may not be plotting.

7. Poison – Beyonce

Get it. Cause he was poisoned.

8. The Choke – Saves the Day

So you will always remember the face of a fictional TV character as he gruesomely died.
