Apple has some strict rules when it comes to app submission. However, Google went a little loose when allowing developers to submit apps to its Play store. But, things have just gotten a bit tougher as Google have removed about 60,000 apps from Google Play store, with no mercy.

According to Tech Crunch, Google has made the big wipe-out in February, making it the “largest round of app deletions to date”, to prepare everyone for the upcoming Google Play 4.0 upgrade. Luckily, all these apps are low quality stuff that nobody uses like MP3 apps ..etc.

Just recently, Google Play reached 700k apps mark.  It’s an obvious fact that a lot of the apps on Google Play are just too spammy. Although, after this big clean, numbers would definitely have to down a little bit.
