5 Reasons Why Nokia Not Require Android
Many people wondering, why Nokia does not switch to the Android operating system while being hit hard as it is now. Because almost all current vendors, already switched to Android. This 5 reasons why:
1. Nokia Belle already feel similar Android.
Have you use the Nokia Belle operating system? Certainly would have, and feel a semblance of Android. Yes, the latest operating system from Symbian has a lot of resemblance with Android. So, why Nokia should turn to Android if they can make their own operating system similar to Android? And even the operating system that Nokia developed these resources to be more efficient than Android. Nokia Belle also be more efficient battery
2. Android is not significantly different than in the smartphone operating system in the last 10 years.
10 years ago, the Windows-based Pocket PC already has a widget feature, and displays the menu to the display grid. What about Android at the moment? Not much different, and it is already there in accordance with current consumer desire.
While on the other hand, Windows Phone offers a new user interface to model a totally different compared to Android.
3. Too much play in the sphere of the current Android
Android vendors once worn by many world today. Starting from Samsung, HTC, LG, Sony, Huawei and other Chinese vendors who secretly also eroding the market share in the mid to low market. This would make the move to switch to Android is not automatically increase sales figures and in making the enterprise. So when all vendors rollicking sell something same thing, try to make a difference. This is what Nokia did with its Windows Phone.
4. Implementation Cost Android Eating Great
Although free and open source Android, but Nokia still must pay Microsoft for patent license to intellectual property . And also must take charge to host when Apple sued.
By adopting Windows Phone, Nokia actually get money from Microsoft, not even pay to Microsoft for using Android.
5. Become Part of the Windows Ecosystem POTENTIAL.
Microsoft has gained the trust and name in the computer domain. They had success with the Windows operating system on desktop and laptop. And they were successful with their Xbox 360. Nokia in there, and bring Nokia Maps integrated into Windows Phone. If Nokia has partnered with Google, of course Nokia Maps that will compete with Google Maps, which certainly can not consolidated.
Why not use them, right?
Nokia does not want to happen and effect an identity crisis as it did not commit on Samsung and HTC. Nokia wants to make the Windows Phone brand Nokia to draw stick its Lumia. And this seems to begin work. Because every time the offending Windows Phone, definitely will direct people remembered the name, the Nokia Lumia.
