5 Quick Questions with Rose Cora Perry & The Truth Untold

Q1) If you're on a road trip or long drive and can only pick one album to put on, what album you can listen to on repeat?

Rose) Oooh that's a tough question as I have an extensive and diverse music library BUT a must on EVERY road trip we ever take as a band is Big Wreck's Albatross . That album is perfect front to back and always gets us pumped up to rock!

Q2) Do you have any pre-show rituals?

Rose) As a singer first and foremost, of course, I have vocal warm-ups that I run through before each show, while Tyler completes some drum exercises.

Aside from that and dolling myself up for stage (ie: on a day-to-day basis I go au natural makeup-wise), I say a short prayer asking to perform the best I can, to keep my nerves in check and to touch people with my music.

Q3) What can fans expect from your live performance at Roxodus?

Rose) A high energy rock'n'roll experience paired with plenty of lame jokes and nonsensical banter 😉 Our aim? To melt people's faces off... in a good way of course!

Q4) Is there an artist that you're listening to these days that you think other people should be listening to?

Rose) Frankly, my taste in music is amazeballs so if I had my way everyone would listen to what I do. Lol.

In all seriousness though, I continue to be impressed by Loreena McKennitt and Norah Jones. They both seem to just keep getting better.

Q5) What are you most looking forward to about Roxodus Music Fest?

Rose) Honestly, the fact that we were chosen as one of the local support acts out of what I can only imagine were countless submissions is an INCREDIBLE INCREDIBLE honour. We're just excited to even be on the same bill as legends like Aerosmith, Cheap Trick, Skynyrd, Blondie, Alice Cooper and Billy Idol.

I mean the lineup for this four day event is truly "epic" and I don't think it's an exaggeration to state it's likely to become one of Canada's biggest rock music festivals in history due to its lineup alone... let alone its anticipated attendance.

We cannot wait to rock the stage and again feel truly blessed and honoured to have this opportunity!
