Posted on the 29 January 2013 by Javeriyacrafts @javeriyacrafts

Hey there Believe&Inspirers! Today in Tips Tuesday I bring you 10 super simple ways to stay beautiful and healthy in today’s rough and tough life.

But, before reading on I want you to take a moment and make a promise, TRUE promise to yourself that if you wanna stay happy, healthy in daily life you will WORK for it.

What I mean is nothing comes to those who sit around and wait.

So, I don’t want you to just go through the tips and close the window and forget about it, instead I want you to take down notes and IMPLEMENT them in your daily life. And, I’m sure it will help you to stay happy, healthy and beautiful!

Oh by the way, I’ve also included a free 12 month beauty check list to-do list (made by myself from head to toe) which you can download and use to stay in check with all the beauty habits you follow. XD

tips to stay beautiful

1. Work on your skin.

Oranges and other citrus fruits work best to keep the skin glowing and fresh. I have this goal, you can say, to eat an orange a day, so mostly in the evenings when I’m craving for junk food and stuff like that, I take fruits instead. It’s not like I never take junk food, (lol that’s truly impossible), I do take them but very rarely. Like once or twice a week.

Also, minimize on your intake of soft drinks.

And, most importantly, use a good company face wash/cleanser daily to get rid of fumes and chemicals on your skin, after coming from outside.

If sun is too bright don’t forget to use sub blocks.

2. Take shower DAILY

I can’t believe I have to say this, but BELIEVE ME I have come across people who love to stay drenched in disgusting sweaty smell ALL DAY, or maybe for WEEKS! YUCK!

So, take my advice if you wanna stay healthy and fresh taking shower DAILY is a MUST, after coming from school/work whatever. Especially if you are living in a country with a hot and humid climate.

Personally, if I don’t take a bath even ONE day, I feel SO uneasy! But, after a quick shower, when I’m all cleansed from the sweat and dirt it feels SO peaceful plus it helps in sleeping peacefully.

3. Use GOOD cosmetics

Firstly, note this thing in your head: everyone’s skin is different. What suits you won’t suit some one else, and vice versa.

As far as cosmetics and skin care products are concerned I say, you should be EXTREMELY picky about them. Honestly speaking, I’m extremely scared of testing new stuff on my skin. So, I mostly rely on herbal/natural stuff.

Before purchasing any cosmetic make sure you check the expiry date. If it is close to it’s expiring date do not purchase it.

Don’t use products you don’t feel confident about. Look for reviews. Now a days especially it’s so easy with the presence of all the beauty gurus out there. But, then again look and follow the person who has similar skin to yours. A product used by some one with dry skin won’t work for you if you have oily skin.

4.  Don’t ignore the faults

What I mean to say is, if you are suffering from acne or any other serious skin problems, don’t hesitate or put off getting a cure for them for tomorrow. This is something serious and you MUST get it looked ASAP.

Either visit your family doctor, or just look for natural ways to get them treated.

5. Stay calm

The other most important thing to stay beautiful and confident is to learn to stay calm and stress free. Stress not only disturbs the normal life but it also leaves a HUGE effect on your skin. One of the example is DARK CIRCLES.

If you stress yourself out, you either end up losing sleep, or sleeping more than you had to. (Average sleeping time for people between 10-50 years of age is 8 hours/day). Hence, the best way to stay stress free is to be damn caring, and learn to turn a deaf ear to negative criticism.

Believe in your abilities and inspire others.
